A letter from February 3rd, 2015

Dear FutureMe, Hey I'm 26 right now. Just sitting at my computer at Kubra and thought I should drop me a line. Life at 36 seems so far away I can barely picture it. Hug and kiss our kids for me will you? Maybe give Lucas an extra squeeze too. I suppose you might want to know how I am right now. I'm feeling a little lost lately. I've been playing roller derby with the Nashville Roller Girls again and well, I'm just not very good. It stings whenever I remember that. I just befriended a nice lady named Julie and I'm trying to take my career more seriously. Which means I should probably keep this short since I'm at work right now (yipes). Sending these emails make me feel like there is a future. Maybe a good one, so I hope your in a good place. Take yourself out to a nice lunch or something for me. I think I'll do the same for me now.
