Time Travelling — over 11 years

Peaceful right?

Dear FutureMe, I know it's a long shot that you'll still be using the same email address but I'll give it a go! So you're 30 now. Wow. I'm only 18 at the moment. 30 feels like ages away. But then again, it doesn't feel like that long ago that I was waiting for my 16th birthday to roll around! So maybe 30 isn't as far away as it seems… that's a scary thought! I wonder how your life is now? Are you married? Do you own a house? Do you still live in Jersey? Do you have kids? I hope you are happy. Not just kind of happy but genuinely happy. With your body, job, lifestyle choices, your life so far. Try not to live with too many regrets. I want to give you a challenge. Make a list of all the little things you always wanted to do, like go sky-diving, and publish a book. It doesn't have to be a long or complex list but you should do it. And then, when your list is done, try to complete everything on the list. You need to live your life to the max. I don't want you to be lying in your deathbed (hopefully at a nice old age) with regret for things you always wanted to do but never bothered doing. Don't forget to smile! A smile can make such a difference. I hope this email has brightened your day. I can't even begin to imagine what it will be like to receive an email from over ten year before, I mean, that's over half my life at the moment! Love from your 18 year old self xxxx
