Dear 30 year-old Declan,
When you were a nipper, you looked into the past too often. You only seemed to reflect upon what previously happened instead of looking ahead (you rewinded instead of fast-forwarded), in school you always stressed over yourself thinking that if you didn't pass any subjects your life would be over and you'd have no option but to end it all, you had no confidence in yourself believing that you couldn't do anything right, you were always listening to stuff like In Hearts Wake (you were listening to them as you wrote this) in hopes that you'd feel a little bit better, you always struggled with depression, anxiety, and split personality disorder.
But consider what you have now; loving parents, a girlfriend to hold and tell your worries and angers to, a band that's just starting out and hoping to get on their feet with things like recording. At the moment, you should have nothing to worry about, understanding that you're still struggling with depression and anxiety, if you hold these things close and never let them go and if you always keep your head because I tell you, once these things are with you the moment you read this, you'll wish you weren't so upset all the time.
Stay classy, feggit.
