Dear FutureMe,
It's PastYou. Where are you now? Wherever you are, I hope you appreciate it. I certainly hope you remember all the work I'm doing for you now, er, then. Whatever. You see I'm still in the middle of working our fingers off so that you can enjoy a nice Mai Tai on that Pacific beach. I hope you made it.
I hope you earned that Mai Tai you're drinking also. Did you teach English to those Cambodian children like we talked about? And how was India? I really hope you remembered not to eat from the street vendors in the North.
Enough chit-chat. I wrote this for a reason. Remember you have family back home. Our nephew Jayden must be, what, eight now? And Shayna? Almost five? You should really head home soon and pay them a visit. You know they miss you and want to know you're alright.
Well, enjoy your beach views and remember the cubicle I wrote this in. Then laugh a hearty laugh at everyone still here, er, there. Whatever.
You (Me)
P.S. Happy birthday to me.
