Dear FutureMe (Written in 2008)

Dear FutureMe, I hope you are happy, beautiful, healthy and smiling. Currently, I am with Daniel, we are coming up to one and half years soon, it's a pretty big deal. I wonder if I'll still be with him when I read this message, when you read this message. I wonder if I'll have found the love of my life, the man I want to spend the rest of my life with. I finish my undergraduate degree at the end of this year. I will be doing Honours, and hopefully getting a job after that. I hope you have a job. You better have a job! I would like to move out of home next year, head out to the Metropolis for a bit of independence, privacy and tiptoeing into adulthood. I hope by the time I read this, you read this FutureMe, that you... I have gone to Italy, Spain. Visited Thailand and maybe, just maybe, Iceland. But in reality, I just you're happy. I hope you know how much you mean to me, what a great person you are and how much potential you have. You better be living the dream. If not, I hope you go out and get it.
