Time Travelled — almost 12 years

Peaceful right?

Dear FutureMe, So the USA NSA has completely ****** us. Edward Snowden was a part of the NSA, but his trust fell apart. He had to blow the whistle, but then flee to Russia, to escape USA persecution. It should have been the ultimate shame of the USA government that they were not trustworthy enough for their own citizen to face an honest trial in the USA. Don't have faith that the government at that level can be honest. In fact, instead of trial, he should have been granted a pardon, and then presented his concerns in public, with the NSA presenting a counter-argument. THAT would have been honest and trust-building. So today feels like this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1yw1Tgj9-VU Where are we today? Has Congress defunded the NSA by 90%? Does it even matter?
