Dear FutureMe, Happy 40th birthday! This is your 27-year-old self. Remember when you sat at your cube one lazy Wednesday and wrote this? You had a ceramic gnome on your desk with a mustache. I hope wherever you are in life, you still have a ceramic gnome. Russell is 13 now, right? How is it having a teenager? Do you have any more kids? I hope that the future is as nice as we once hoped. I hope that paying off student loans allowed you and Rusty to get that house you wanted, and send Russell to a good school. Give Rusty and (all?) the kids a big hug from me.
