Dear Me,
When you lost your playoff game last February, you were in tears b/c it was over and you felt like you should have done better. This is what your assistant coach said:
"Christa, in case I don't get a chance to talk to you again, you had a rock solid game and an incredible season. If there's one player who's been the heart of this team, if was you. Honestly, out of all the seniors, you're the one most likely to play college soccer, so where ever you go, you should try to walk-on."
And then he showed you poetry he'd written on the bus ride home. =) Anyways. Don't forget about that goal. Don't lose it. Just try. Try try try or you'll never know. A life lived in fear is a life half lived. Go play soccer because it's been an amazing part of your life thus far.
