Dear Future Me

Time Travelled — almost 15 years

Peaceful right?

This is slightly strange. But I will get on with it. The point of this email is to help you remember. Don't forget these people, they are the most amazing people to me, and you want them in your life forever. First, Charlotte Lee. When you met her, everything fell into place. Your went to the jamboree with her, summer of 2011. And what I hope is its the best time of your life. Stay with her. (I love her more than anyone in the world). Next is Sally Mayes. You met her on top of that hill with 1st Shoreham Scout Group, on the night hike. She was your first kiss, and you always had a spot for her in your heart. The love of your youth. Stay in touch with her, she was a big part of your life. Now its Charlotte Purser. What can I say. You can trust this one with your life. She's also been your best friend for the first 14 years of your life, and hopefully more. You need someone to look after you, she will be there for you. Love her to bits, will never forget. Andrew Bonavia. The best scout leader you have ever known. And even after he left, a close friend to you. When you are reading this, he will be 45, and his beautiful daughter Caitlin will be 15. Remember the good times with him. Speeding down the motorway with pendulum coming from the speakers, or quiet times in the car with Bohemian Rhapsody. Life was good. Lastly, your sister, Alice Gilbert. Look out for her. You have always had your ups and downs, but she cares for you. Make sure she stays safe, she needs someone to tell her once in a while. Well that's me done. Ever get into the RAF then? Are you married? Still in the Scouting movement? I will leave you to your life now. But live everyday is its your last, its what makes life great. From your 14 year old self
