A letter from the past

Time Travelled — over 15 years

Peaceful right?

Dear FutureMe, Happy Birthday. You are 40 today. I hope when you get this letter you are living our dream. A house full of kids, life with your loving husband Thor, homeschooling, and working as a labor and delivery nurse on the side. If you can remember back to when you were 24. I'm just starting at Baptist Women's. I'm working on the C-section team. Trying hard to still have a life and do my best at work. I still feel like I'm asking for to much. I just saw Dr. Kutteh a couple days ago and he gave you a whole bunch of information. I hope all of that goes well. I'm still scared about all of this. Have you made it to Africa yet? You know that's where we've wanted to go for many many years. Can you believe how long you've been with Thor? It will be 18 years by the time you get this. We just celebrated 3 years. I love him so much. Did you get that little girl and boy you dreamed about? Do you remember how worried and scared you were that it would never happen? Today is a Friday so we'll be going to Nanoo's tonight. I'm sure she's not still around at this point. I hope she didn't suffer. Did she end up with Alzheimers as well? She's such a great grandmother. As I type this Carma is laying on the back of the couch. How long did she live. She's about to turn 2 in a few months. Did I ever get that second dog I asked about? I hope we are not in this same house on Powell. Its a nice little started home, but it would be nice to be in something bigger. I do rather hope I have a baby in this one first. This house has never seen a child. Try to get along better with the inlaws. I know they drive you crazy, but they are family too. Are you still struggling with the ADD. I have a hard time finishing anything now. Life is so distracting. Give momma and daddy a hug for me. Tell all the kids you love them. Make love to Thor. And go out and get yourself a massage. Happy Birthday again. See you in 15 years.
