His leather Jacket

Peaceful right?

Dear FutureMe, You have been robbed. A great thing has been taken from you, but no matter how hard you try the thief will never be reprimanded. You see, futureme, the thing that has been taken from you are the years itself. Time seems to have grasped from your pretty, dainty, hands and gotten so far away you can hardly believe where you are. Do you know where you are? You are sitting on dirty sheets, wearing barely any clothes, and wondering where to go next. He said move on, what does that mean? Does he actually want you to move on? Does he really want you to wait around? Is this a trick question? There are no simple answers for such questions. I hope someday you pack up everything in your room that has a memory of him and shove it in a closet somewhere. The problem with that is...everything you own has a memory of him. He once said he would never leave. That he wanted to marry you, grow old with you...there was talk of kids and houses and so many plans. Do I have to tell you that sometimes people actually do change their minds? He did. His leather jacket is lying on your dirty, lime green sheets. It looks like a bikers jacket, but in honesty it just looks like Elijah. I want it to go away. To the left of your dresser are all his letters, the numerous amount of that would be so hard to get rid of even if you wanted to. The "Beatles" Coffee mugs he bought you for Christmas that you thought was the most romantic thing ever. A thousand memories of a 5 month relationship and a lifetime to get rid of them. How? Love was yours. You always wanted it, and for five months...you got it. Whose to say you won't find it again? Whose to say it won't be with him again? It could happen. Anything can. But right now, hun, you need to move on. Get out of bed, clean your sheets, and tell him how you feel. And then go...It will be hard. I believe you can do it. I love you. -Sabrina P.S. Happy 4th of July! Pretty fireworks?
