Dear Future Me,
Hi. Today was a very long day. We had coffee with Ma’am Nao (HR Head) at Starbucks, and we just got home—it was already past 12 a.m.! Hahaha. We had a long conversation about what might happen, and this is something big that will not just probably but surely shake the whole hospital once we make a move.
You know what? Lately, everything has been so draining, and I feel so demotivated to work because of her. I want her out, but the problem is, she is that girl. I don’t understand why management favors her. I hate her, Lord. Please remove her from my life. I just want to work peacefully, but her presence makes me sick to my stomach. Seeing her every day feels like torture.
I don’t want to resign, but there’s something inside me telling me to just walk away and move on. At the same time, I’m also thinking that there is a crisis, and finding a new job would be very difficult. Lord, is this just a challenge for me? Or is this a sign from You that this job is not meant for me? If only I had a good supervisor, maybe life would be ten times
easier. Lord, please help me and answer me. Please, please, please.
To my future self, I hope this letter reminds you that you have come so far. These days feel so heavy, and I hope everything will fall into place. May all my desires align, and may my dreams come true.
In Jesus’ name, amen.
