What's up, girl?
Melina of April 28 here, 2026.
It's been a long time since I wrote a letter to myself. Soon my year of recognition will end at the my workplace and I will not go back there. Never. My current plan (and some desire) is to travel throughout Germany as a jumper in daycare centres and thus support the daycares. So far, the facility hasn't come forward, but hey- they were the ones who contacted me. So it can't go that wrong, can it? I will send this letter to 01.08 so that you can get upset with me then, haha. The job of a jumper to travel around Germany sounds interesting and the salary of just under €4,000 actually sounds good, as Mom also finds. Maybe it would also do me good to get away from here without really moving out. It would give me the opportunity to travel to Germany! In addition, it might get even more distant with Dad and put some distance (even more than before) between us. After all, I would only come home for the weekend - if at all. My best friend is not quite as enthusiastic about it.
I have already mentioned it above, but after the year I will not take a step into the current workplace. I just decided for myself that it was too early for me and that I was not yet mature enough to do this job properly. I really hope that works out with the job! I haven't told my father yet. I want to wait until it really happens. How would he react?
