Dear Future Me,
I want you to remember that nothing in life is easy, and that is okay. Everything takes effort, and you’ve already proven that you’re willing to put that effort in. Anything you truly set your mind to, you can do. Just stay dedicated and determined, that’s what’s going to carry you through.Take your time figuring things out. There’s no rush. Keep learning yourself and love yourself even more as you grow. You made a big shift going from the healthcare field into teaching, and that took courage. Keep trusting God to guide you, lead your steps, and open doors you didn’t even know were meant for you.
I hope this journey continues to be one of the greatest gifts you’ve ever received, right up there with the gift of waking up each day. And when you make mistakes, because you will, don’t be so hard on yourself. Fix what you can, learn from it, and move forward. You always have another chance to get it right.Stop telling yourself you should be further ahead. You are exactly where you’re supposed to be right now. Everything is happening in its own time, and your path is your path.
There’s so much good in you, and you’re going places, even if you don’t always see it yet. Keep embracing who you are, your strength, your beauty, everything that makes you you. Smile a little more, give yourself grace, and trust that if something needs to change, it will.
Take the bitter with the sweet and keep moving forward. You’ve got this. That Mrs. name you’ve been wanting, that secured job that’s meant for you, and that stable foundation with steady income, it’s all getting closer. Just stay patient and keep going. Just losing up and living.
Love,
Me
