Dear FutureMe,
I’m writing this with a quiet hope in my heart and a lot of emotions I don’t always know how to express. Right now, life feels uncertain, but I am trying. I am really trying. I’m searching for a job, pushing myself even when I feel tired or doubtful, and preparing for IELTS with all the strength I have. Some days are heavy, full of overthinking and fear, but I still choose to move forward, even if it’s just a small step.
I wonder about you a lot. I imagine you reading this with a soft smile, maybe remembering how hard this period felt. I hope by now you have the job you once dreamed about. I hope your English flows naturally, confidently, without fear. I hope you feel proud—not just because you achieved something, but because you didn’t give up when it was difficult.
Please tell me it was worth it. Tell me that all the effort, the stress, the silent battles, and the patience led you somewhere beautiful. I hope you wake up with a sense of purpose now, with new goals that inspire you, not scare you. I hope this is the beginning of something bright, something meaningful—your career, your future, your life.
And if you ever feel lost again, please remember me—the version of you who kept going despite everything. The one who believed in you even when it was hard.
I’m proud of you already. I just hope you’re proud of me too.
With all my heart,
Your Past Self
