A letter from Apr 09, 2026

Dear Future Me, WE'RE SO BACK YOU'RE ******* 18 BRO, congrats I'm so proud, years ago, we thought we wouldn't be around to be 18, so thankful for us making it. right now, (8 April 2026) i'm stressed asf w college and whatever high school grades and the job market WHATEVS. still, we're making the most of it, we changed a LOT, and adapted sooo quickly to this freaking "too good for me" school. our hair, omfg where should we start. we made it through the big chop, wore our bad haircut (kinda delulu yeah) but the awkward phase is far now. be proud of it, it's literally one of the things we like the most, yeah, even in bad hair days... so many erassss oh god, our Minecraft (never gone away tbh) era, our gacha era, our BTS era, our rochy era, our playboi carti era, our free fire era, our dream smp era, our bl era, our otaku era... we've had A LOT JJUYTRDSJAJ right now there's so many things we love: nirvana, the Beatles (we <3 Ringo), charli xcx, Jake gyllenhaal, Dexter, waterboy, call of duty, dress to impress, HM: PIGEONS, and many more I just don't remember now loll. with turning 18 you just unlocked many things in life, so yeah, lock in. but don't EVER become another boring npc with no personality (just saying) we love so many things that are just so unique and so US. lock in, but don't forget our goals, traveling with Angie and being successful enough make dad proud and to shut mom the **** up. lock in, but don't change your taste to fit in with whatever is trending or to please someone. lock in, but don't pay too much attention to what other people might say or think of you, we need to stop that. things will work out, we'll make them work out. lastly, love yourself, we've heard RM say it over and over again, but never really gave it the meaning it should have, loving all the parts of us, past, present, future. mistakes and anything that we may want to change. those are what make us OURSELVES in the end. I love you, like no one ever could, you don't need anyone else to feel loved and appreciated, it may feel surreal to hear this from yourself, but you know we do.
