Time Travelled — about 1 month

Peaceful right?

Dear Future Me, If you’re reading this, a month has passed since the night I felt hurt, confused, and questioned everything. So tell me… are you okay now? Right now, my heart feels heavy. I keep thinking about him why he acted that way, why I felt ignored, why I wasn’t treated the way I deserved. It hurt more than I expected, and yes, I cried. But even now, I know this: I chose myself. I said what I felt, and I stepped back. And that matters. I hope this month has made things a little lighter. Maybe you’re not fully healed, but at least you’re not stuck. I hope you’re not checking your phone the same way, and his name doesn’t feel as heavy anymore. And if you still think about him… that’s okay. Just remember why you stepped back: He didn’t show up. He didn’t communicate. He made you feel unsure. And you deserve certainty. I hope you’ve focused on yourself your routine, your growth, the things you love and slowly filled that emptiness from within. Remember this: It was never about you not being enough. It was about him not being able to give enough. If he comes back, don’t forget this feeling not with anger, but with self-respect. And if he doesn’t, I hope you no longer need him to. Please tell me you’re stronger now. Please tell me you chose peace over confusion. And even if you’re still healing, I’m proud of you for not going back to what hurt you. Just promise me one thing: Don’t return to anything that made you question your worth. You deserve consistency, effort, and someone who remembers you without being reminded. Take a deep breath… you made it through. With love, You 💛
