Time Travelled — 5 months

Peaceful right?

Dear FutureMe, I hope when you read this, you pause for a moment… and smile. Not because everything is perfect—but because you remember where you came from. Right now, I’m choosing myself. And that wasn’t easy. I walked away from what drained me, even when it hurt. I let go of an unhealthy relationship—not because I stopped caring, but because I finally started caring about me more. That decision? It took strength. Real strength. I hope you never forget that. I’m learning to love myself in ways I never did before. Slowly, intentionally. I’m showing up for my life—my career, my health, my body, my peace. I’m building discipline, even on the days I don’t feel like it. By the time you read this, I hope you kept your promise: You stepped into that gym. You stayed consistent. You gained that weight in a healthy way. You built strength—not just physically, but mentally too. Maybe you even got those abs you were dreaming about—but more importantly, I hope you gained confidence. And your skin… I’m working on it now. The routines, the patience, the effort toward that “glass skin” glow. I hope it’s not just about appearance anymore, but about how you feel when you look at yourself—proud, calm, and at peace. I’m also trying to rediscover joy—through hobbies, through growth, through becoming someone I actually admire. Not perfect. Just real, evolving, and grounded. If life got hard again along the way—and I know it probably did—I hope you didn’t lose yourself trying to survive it. I hope you remembered this version of you. The one who decided: enough is enough. You don’t need to go back to old patterns. You don’t need to shrink for anyone. You don’t need to settle. You are allowed to grow. You are allowed to outgrow. You are allowed to become someone new. And if somehow you’re reading this and things didn’t go as planned—that’s okay too. What matters is that you started. That you chose change. That you believed you deserved better. I’m proud of you already. Not for what you’ve achieved—but for what you had the courage to begin. Keep going. — From the version of you that finally chose herself
