A letter from Apr 04, 2026

Dear FutureMe, This year has been a lot but the alot has been great, I won’t lie!!! Went on a trip to Benin and I consider it fun tbh. Work has been going smoothly too. I was betrayed by someone I thought was different. It didn’t hurt that much but I was interestingly shocked. I wish him all the evils the world can deliver!!! Because I was on my own. I didn’t ask for a relationship, I didn’t ask for nothing yet he found a reason to lie to me consistently. He’s a performative narcissist, a liar and a cheat…I think my bar was way below and God forbid his type! I got a new job through Slice, a mutual from Twitter. I hope when I read this, I still have the job. Do I like the job? Yes but it can be overwhelming and that’s because I still don’t know much about how my working days are supposed to look. I hope I get it before I read this. My sister made me waste 100k plus. I’m so annoyed about it but I have decided to ignore and just focus on myself. I plan to get an iPhone in a few days. I hope I get the complete money soon and get it fixed. Relationship wise, I am not stressing over it anymore. I even stopped praying about it. If God says he has someone for me, it will work out but if not, let me enjoy my youth and live a fulfilling life regardless of my relationship status. My dad has been sick since the beginning of the year but I truly hope he gets better everyday. My mum is doing well and the whole family are okay. My friends are doing great too I hope this continues See you in the next few months I hope I am happier career wise, financially, mentally, physically and in every area of my life I love you, Oluwafunke
