Dear FutureMe,
Happy birthday, buddy. You're 26 years old now, let that sink in. Time flew by so fast. It seems like we were 16 just a couple of weeks ago, but that was already a decade ago. You might feel like you've wasted so much time and haven't lived the life you wanted. Experiences you've wanted to have a decade ago are weighing heavily on your heart with each passing day that you're not living them. Much worse; the helplessness that overwhelms your spirit with no path to your dream in sight. But I need you to remember that "a long period of confusion is not the side effect of trying to do somthing great, it's the price of addmission". However long you have to walk in your darkness, please, keep walking. As I'll walk mine. I'm only a few months behind you, but miracles can happen, and you might be reading this with everything we have ever wanted in hand. If so, enjoy it, fully, and thank God who gave it to us. But most importantly, if not, please, do not dwell on what has passed. You decide whether the previous years have meaning or not. A beautiful ending is what gives suffering meaning. And only giving up on our dream is the certain waste of our life. I'm stepping into a new chapter. If I don't make it, carry on for me, please, because we must give this meaning. We must.
Sincerely, You.
