A letter from Mar 25, 2026

Time Travelled — 6 months

Peaceful right?

Dear you, I don't aim for longer than six months because I know how harsh things are for you. I wish I could write for sooner but I also don't want to risk ruining the effect. I know you have this... flight booked already, and I know you're scared. I don't truly know, from my position, how it's gonna be yet. Sometimes I idealize it, some others I treat it is like it's trash, but the only one to truly know how it actually went, it's you. I really, really hope things went well. I hope you got friends. I hope Watson helped so you didn't get too overwhelmed and disregulated. I hope you found moments of calm and enjoyed it. I truly hope nobody and nothing triggered your emetophobia and that you found a way to settle the neuralgia down enough. I'm writing all of these because currently, those, along with the gradutation and our limited savings are my biggest concerns. I hope that by the time you reach this letter —Or rather, this letter reaches you—at least a few of those no longer concern you. I truly hope our life gets better and you get actual help, although I am also realistic and know therapy isn't being enough and you know what? **** it. Let it not be enough but at least, even if mediocre, let it sustain you for as much as it can. I also hope the idiot hasn't reached out yet or better yet, he has by then and not in a worse period. You'll get this by... when? September? If then, you'd be lucky, as it'd been a year after the breakup. Sorry that I have to measure time in such a way, but it's pretty much the only reference I've got. But also, I think that after this one we'll have the trip as a reference too. I hope you're doing fine. All of you! Truly, I adore you. Every single one of you. As they are. I can also only hope for you to have income. Income is really important, isn't it? Sure, if I were you —and I am— I'd tell you it's certaintly not the most important thing in life, but, we can't deny how important it is. I don't want to put that much pressure on you, and you shouldn't either. But, if I can ask for something that you may have accomplished, not as a task but something that might make me happy that'd be to please, just, please, allow yourself that violin you want. Regardless of what they say or their nosy comment or nonsensical comments, if you haven't by now and you can, please, get yourself that violin. It may not be a life-saver, all right, but, at least, we should try to let something else consume you besides your own mind. Also, I hope you had bought yourself at least two of the three books you wanted. Those seemed fun! I'm also looking forward to hearing how much you've advanced with our reading challenge, and if you have already reached Virginia's again. I love Virginia Woolf, dude. Let me know how you're doing on our "love" list, okay? Please take care of yourself. I don't you don't want to listen to this but please, for me, do not commit suicide, okay? I adore you, you're lovable, at least to me, enough to be requesting this from you. We'll continue to write this so to keep on checking on ourselves, yeah? constantly. So, if you survive, please write again for our future us. Love, Kaaya.
