Dear FutureMe,
I hope wherever you are right now, you feel proud of yourself. Not because everything turned out perfectly, but because you kept going even when things were uncertain, uncomfortable, or harder than expected.
Right now, life feels like it’s in motion. There are decisions ahead, places to move to, people to meet, and goals that still feel far away. I’m working on becoming more disciplined, more confident, and more intentional with how I spend my time. I’m trying to build something meaningful for myself, not just academically but personally too.
I hope you didn’t forget what matters most. Stay close to the people who believed in you early. Stay curious. Keep creating. Keep learning. Keep taking risks even when they don’t make sense to everyone else.
Did the plans work out the way I imagined? Maybe not. But I hope you chose growth over comfort when it mattered. I hope you kept pushing yourself physically and mentally. I hope you kept your creativity alive, especially with music, because that’s one of the things that makes you feel most like yourself.
If things are going well, take a second to appreciate how far you’ve come. If they aren’t, remember that this version of you still believed you could handle whatever came next.
Keep building the life you once promised yourself.
Proud of you already.
