Dear FutureMe,
after countless days and sleepless nights of hard work, I hope you can finally say, “I made it.” You have always known that there would be moments when things did not unfold as you had hoped, and that not everything was within your control. Still, I hope you learned to tend to your wounds with kindness and to embrace every step you took with courage, no matter how small.
Have you been gentle with yourself? Because it was me who often judged myself most harshly for every mistake. Please, don't resent yourself. Instead, say that: “At least I tried.”
I believe in you. I have already forgiven you for any missteps you may have made along the way, so do not hesitate—keep moving forward and continue giving your best. We have come such a long way, and I am proud of you for not giving up: even when you were afraid, even when you were exhausted, even when everything seemed uncertain.
In the end, you will find your way—you always do.
