Dear Future me, I have a lot to ask you. J, are you still friends with J? Having him in your life has been a very emotional process. You think at this point that you love him more than you've ever loved anyone, and you often find that you don't know how exactly you feel about that love. You've tried to rationalize it, figure out if you love him romantically or platonically, you've spent hours agonizing over the definition of romance. Is romance always ******? can you have romantic feelings for someone if those feelings aren't ******? If you can't, are those feelings just overwhelmingly strong platonic love. Please do let me know, though I have to be honest I am hoping that you're still friends, he has really helped you grow as a person. Another big question, did you get into Emerson? Did you take a gap semester? did you go to UNH, please God tell me that you didn't end up at UNH. Maybe, you ended up somewhere else? Now, this one is pretty personal. Have you contracted an STD? You're always afraid of getting an STD since your kind of a man *****. By the way, you wrote this when you had a sore throat, I know, every time you have a sore throat you think you have an STD, don't worry it's probably fine and in six months from now it shouldn't matter anyway. How many names have you added to the list since writing this, currently the number stands at 16. How is RH? are you still friends? is he still with M? If you did get into Emerson, has moving to Boston caused you to see more of each other? has it caused any tension? Is everything more or less the same? I know that what you're hoping for, that things stay the same, you are very change adverse after all. I hope he's doing well, he's been a very great friend and great mentor. Oh, Is grammy still alive? If she is you should call her, not that she's on deaths door or anything but it would be a nice thing for you to do, call Great Uncle F while you at it also. I don't think there is anything that I could tell you right now, that you don't already know. Right now, you feel like you're in this limbo period and you really want to get out of it, I hope by the time you're reading this you've escaped limbo, or at the very least entered into a new stage of limbo?
