happy birthday…? you didn’t think you’d live this long, did you? but here you are. twenty. i don’t want to write you a long letter—i feel like you would not be able to read it… but if you’re reading this, that means you’ve survive the things you were sure you wouldn’t. you have carried your thoughts that felt heavier than your body. you lived through the nights and days where living feels like an obligation. i hope you let that sink in for a moment :)) breathe for now 20 years is a long time to keep surviving as someone who wanted to die since 13 and somehow, you did it. live. -from you who once couldn’t imagine this day
