A letter from Mar 12, 2026

Dear FutureMe, Dear Future Asia I know that you will be stronger and more accomplished by the time you get this letter I just want to say thank you thank you for not giving up although I know times got rough and rocky and you couldn't understand things at times but you chose to learn how to figure things out not only by attending therapy but applying the tools you were learning to everyday life situations. You have had to make some tough choices on this journey but you made them and you survived them. Your relationships with your children are stronger and better than they have ever been. Continue to be the light for them continue to show them that hard things are possible especially when you walk with your higher power (who I choose to call God). Everyday here at thistle and bee has been nothing short of a miracle here I have learned to to love Asia from the inside out and when I learned to love myself from the inside out it made it so much easier to genuinely love others and this includes my children (we do recover.) I have never had the opportunity to heal the way that I have had to heal here. Slow and steady that is. You could not pay me to stay at a rehab past 28 days it was just like oh no I got it from here oh really I didn't but the moment that I realized what is 2 years compared to 18 more years in addiction I think I'll take the two Alex. But all jokes aside I had to put that on the scale and when I weighed it out the two years most definitely won it was the best decision I could have made. Today I live a wholesome life a life of integrity, humility and constant open-mindedness. I know things may arise I know ***** may arise but I'm not afraid today by the grace of God I am prepared with tools to make it through I don't have to suffer I can feel my feelings I can express my feelings and process them and know that They are just that FEELINGS. I AM SO GRATEFUL TO MY GOD and THIS PROGRAM BECAUSE OF THIS PROGRAM I AM A BETTER DAUGHTER I AM BETTER SISTER AND I HAVE BECOME A BETTER MOTHER BUT MOST OF ALL I HAVE BECOME A BETTER VESSEL FOR THE LORD TO USE ME.
