A letter from Mar 06, 2026

Time Travelled — 6 months

Peaceful right?

Dear FutureMe, If you're reading this three to five years from now, I hope you take a moment to remember the person who wrote this letter. Right now, I'm still a student trying to figure things out. Life feels heavy sometimes, especially when it comes to school. I struggle a lot in academics, and there are moments when I feel like I’m not good enough or that I'm falling behind others. There are nights when I overthink everything and wonder if all my efforts will really lead me somewhere. But even with all those doubts, I'm still here. I'm still trying. I'm still choosing to fight for my future. I hope that when you read this, life has become a little better for you. Maybe you've already finished your studies or started building the life you once dreamed about. I hope that the struggles I'm facing right now helped shape you into a stronger and wiser person. Please don't forget where you came from. Don't forget the days when things felt impossible but you still kept going. Those days matter. Those moments of struggle are part of your story, and they helped you grow into the person you are today. I also hope you never forget the people who supported you when you felt like you had nothing. Our parents, who sacrificed so much just to give us opportunities. Our siblings who stayed beside us through everything. Our friends who made life lighter when everything felt stressful. And our cousins who believed in us even when we doubted ourselves. They are part of the reason we kept moving forward. If things didn't go exactly the way we planned, that's okay too. Life isn't perfect, and sometimes the path changes. What matters is that you didn’t give up. What matters is that you kept trying and continued to grow. I hope you're kinder to yourself now. I hope you've learned that struggling doesn't make you weak. In fact, it shows how strong you are for continuing despite everything. And if by chance you're still chasing the same dreams, I want you to keep going. Don't stop believing in yourself just because the journey is difficult. Remember that the version of you writing this letter right now already believes that you can make it. Most of all, I hope you're happy. Not just successful, but truly happy and at peace with your life. I hope you’re proud of how far you’ve come, even if the progress was slow. Wherever you are right now, keep moving forward. Stay humble. Stay grateful. And never forget the person you once were, the one who kept fighting even when life was hard.
