Dear FutureMe,
I'm writing because i want to preserve this moment of feeling incredibly grateful for my life (it's also the first weekend in months that the sun has come back out and it's been above fifty degrees). I live in a beautiful space surrounded by love, so much opportunity and promise in front of me, I have friends I can call, and a thrumming excitement at what is to come. Maybe it's the feeling of summer, right at my fingertips, maybe it's the caffeine lingering in my mouth and making its way through my bloodstream, or maybe it's just one of those small moments where I realize the things I cried about losing a year ago have found their way back to me, in new and beautiful ways. I jumped into the unknown with nothing but hope and trust, and it's little moments like this that affirms I was right to do so.
Anyway, back to the appellate brief.
I love you so much. I'm rooting for you and believe in you! Continue to jump into unknowns with that same faith and trust because, truly, you always end up in a better spot on the other side.
Love,
me(you)((us))
