Time Travelled — 6 months

Peaceful right?

Dear FutureMe, Dear Future Me, Six months ago, you made a bold decision to start your cybersecurity journey with ALX. You chose growth over comfort, discipline over excuses, and learning over fear. I hope as you read this, you feel proud — not just because you completed the program, but because you stayed consistent even on the hard days. The late nights studying threats, networks, risk management, and security principles were not easy, but you showed up anyway. I hope you now understand cybersecurity beyond theory — that you can confidently explain vulnerabilities, analyze risks, and think like both an attacker and a defender. I hope you’ve built real skills, worked on practical labs, maybe even earned certifications or started applying for roles. More importantly, I hope you developed resilience, patience, and the confidence to step into tech spaces boldly. Remember why you started: to grow, to build a stable and impactful career, and to prove to yourself that you can master something completely new. If you’re reading this, it means you didn’t quit. That alone is a win. Keep pushing forward — whether it’s landing your first cybersecurity role, building your portfolio, or continuing to specialize. This is just the beginning. I am Proud of you.
