My Dear Love,
Sit down. Not in hustle mode. Not in CEO mode. Not in “let me fix everything for everybody” mode. Just you.
You have been carrying vision like it’s groceries and you refuse to make two trips. That’s cute. Also unnecessary.
I see how hard you go. The way you build things from air. The way you make rooms feel safe. The way you turn pain into product, ideas into income, dreams into actual addresses. That’s not normal. That’s gift. And you keep treating it like survival instead of brilliance.
Remember why you started.
Not for applause.
Not to prove people wrong.
Not to be the strongest one in the room.
You started because you wanted freedom. You wanted peace that didn’t require permission. You wanted to wake up and not feel behind in your own life. You wanted joy that didn’t have to be earned the hard way.
And somewhere in all the planning and pushing and producing, you forgot that happiness is not a finish line. It’s a practice. It’s in the way you sit with your coffee. It’s in how you talk to yourself when things fall apart. It’s in choosing to rest before your body forces you to.
You do not have to bleed to deserve success.
Balance does not mean equal time. It means right energy. Some seasons are grind. Some seasons are glow. Some seasons are just you, barefoot in your own kitchen, remembering you are a woman before you are a brand.
Be softer with yourself.
You speak life into everybody else. Speak it here too.
When you feel tired, that is not weakness. That is a body asking for gentleness.
When you feel doubt, that is not failure. That is growth stretching you.
When you feel behind, that is comparison trying to steal your gratitude.
You are not late. You are layered.
Self-love is not spa days and pretty affirmations. It’s boundaries. It’s saying no without a dissertation. It’s not over-explaining your evolution. It’s forgiving the old version of you without dragging her through every conversation.
Motivation will not always feel loud. Sometimes it will whisper. Sometimes it will look like discipline. Sometimes it will look like you doing the next small right thing even when no one is clapping.
Keep going. But not in a frantic way.
Go in a grounded way.
Go in a healed way.
Go in a way that leaves room for laughter.
You deserve happiness that feels light. You deserve love that feels steady. You deserve success that does not cost your nervous system everything.
And if you ever forget who you are, come back here.
You are capable.
You are allowed to slow down.
You are allowed to want more.
You are allowed to be content while building bigger.
You are not chasing your life. You are creating it.
Take a breath. Roll your shoulders back. Fix your crown, but only because it slipped, not because you were less worthy without it.
I’m proud of you. Not for what you produce. For who you’re becoming.
Keep choosing yourself.
Always,
Younger Marquisha
