Time Travelled — 6 months

Peaceful right?

Dear FutureMe, Hey Fofo If you're reading this, it means six months have passed. Honestly, I don't know how you're doing right now. Maybe you're smiling as you read this, maybe you're still going through some tough times… but I really hope you're feeling a little calmer. Today, as I write this letter, I'm trying. It's not always easy; sometimes I feel like I'm stuck, sometimes I'm tired of fighting with myself, with my emotions, with my motivation. But I'm still trying, and I hope you're proud of that, even if everything isn't perfect. I hope you've managed to take care of your body the way you wanted. Not just to lose weight, but to feel better in your own skin, more confident, freer in the way you move, dress, and look at yourself in the mirror. I hope you've learned to be kinder to yourself and that you've realized your worth is never just a number. I really hope you passed your math and French exams. I know how stressed you are and how much you sometimes doubt yourself. If you did, I'm incredibly proud of you. And if things didn't go as planned, I hope you understood that it doesn't define your intelligence or your ability to succeed in life. You are so much more than grades. I hope your English has improved. That you understand more easily when you read and listen, and that you're a little prouder of yourself when you manage to speak without thinking too much. I hope you didn't give up, even when it was frustrating. And… maybe you've met someone. I don't even know if I should write that with certainty or with a question mark. But if so, I hope he's kind to you. That he respects you. That he reassures you instead of making you doubt yourself. That he makes you laugh, listens to you, and makes you feel chosen, not tolerated. And if you haven't met anyone, I hope you've learned to be comfortable with yourself, because you already deserve to feel loved, even without someone by your side. Above all, I want you to remember that you've survived much more than people imagine. You're stronger than you think, even when you feel fragile. Even when you want to give up. You always keep moving forward, even slowly, and that counts. If you're happy right now, enjoy it. Really. You deserve it. If you're sad, lost, or tired, breathe. You've weathered storms before, and you're still here. You'll find your way back, just like you always have. I'm proud of you, no matter where you are. With all my love, Me, six months ago 🤍
