A letter from Feb 08, 2026

Dear FutureMe, You're in the cottage in Meerhof. Chris is in Canada, Fern and Benn in Skeerpoort. Oliver is just so very great as always, Morgan is odd and wonderful. Fern has a dog. You're burnt out an old not creative or productive. You don't even want to talk about work. John was in your space this week and it was very difficult to deal with. I hope you've given yourself grace and rest and that things are better. You keep telling yourself that at least you don't have to move to another country any time soon. That's it. Bit flat but you're in the trees as you wanted to be.
