Dear FutureMe,
Happy baby or happy adults only time. You had a positive pregnancy test last week and you’re not exactly freaking out. Your partner E was astonished, excited, and maybe even happy but also acknowledged that we enjoy our lives just us together. And that he wants to move, that he can’t stop thinking about it since he’s been wanting to ever since he met me and now this (sorry about that I made him want to stay haha!). So what do we do? We suck at decisions and this is the biggest one. Most signs point to seeing this through, though sometimes fear take over that I can’t do this to our lives. And we’re foreigners in the country though I feel that it’s the best option to give birth here rather than my own country. I’m also scared of loss… I’m 40 and chances of miscarriage is quite high. Or genetic problems. Am I confident that we can face this? But at least we face it together. Wish you strength wherever you are.
