Dear Future Me,
If you’re reading this, then pause for a second. Seriously—pause. Look how far you’ve come just by getting here. There was a version of me who could only imagine this moment, who had to rely on belief more than proof. And yet, here you are.
I believe you made it this far. I believe you’ve touched money you once only calculated in your head. I believe you’ve done things that once felt “too big” or “too early.” And even if some of those wins haven’t fully landed yet, I need you to understand something clearly: you still won.
Because progress was never just about results. It was about resilience. It was about showing up when motivation was gone. It was about choosing discipline when comfort was louder. It was about betting on yourself when nobody else had enough data to believe.
I know the road wasn’t neat. Some plans probably failed. Some people probably left. Some nights likely felt longer than they should have. But look at you—you didn’t fold. You adapted. You learned. You kept building.
You said you were going to focus on your coding skills. I hope you honored that promise. I hope you leaned into mastery instead of shortcuts. I hope you stayed curious, sharp, and humble enough to keep learning while being confident enough to charge what you’re worth. Skills compound. Discipline compounds. Identity compounds. And you understood that early.
If you’re proud right now, good—you earned it. If you’re not fully satisfied yet, even better. That hunger is proof you’re still growing. Just don’t confuse “not there yet” with “not enough.” You were always enough. The work was never about validation; it was about alignment.
Remember this: you don’t need to rush your destiny. You just need to stay consistent with your principles. Money is important, yes—but self-respect, clarity, and control over your time matter even more. Never sell your future for short-term relief.
I’m proud of you for choosing the harder path. For thinking long-term in a short-term world. For believing that your story deserved patience and precision.
No matter where you are when you read this—winning loudly or grinding quietly—I’m proud of you. Keep going. Stay sharp. Stay disciplined. Stay honest with yourself.
You were built for this.
With respect,
Your past self
Christobel
