A letter from Dec 17, 2025

Dear FutureMe, You are two days away from finishing in the NHS. Having worked there since 2007 it feels strange that it’s over. I wonder if I find work as quickly as I anticipated. Currently I am drawn towards the civil service or local authority. Maybe working for such a big organisation, it’s hard to imagine being in a smaller workplace. My partner is supportive and feels I will be fine, I am not so sure. I have a strong work ethic and hopefully this will carry me through the changes ahead. Be exciting to see what has transpired once I am away from the environment I felt was for the rest of my working life.
