Dear Future Me,
Hi. If you’re reading this now, it means another six months have passed and honestly, I’m proud of you.
When I wrote this, you were tired. The kind of tired that’s hard to explain, the kind that makes you want to disappear into sleep because everything just feels too heavy sometimes. But even then, you still held on to something. The fanmeets, the concerts, the moments that made you smile even when life felt overwhelming.
So if this is you six months later, I hope your heart feels lighter.
I hope you’ve achieved things you didn’t even think you were capable of.
I hope something changed, something grew, something healed. Even just a little.
And if you still get tired sometimes, that’s okay. It doesn’t mean you’re failing. Healing isn’t linear; sometimes it’s messy, sometimes it’s slow, sometimes it feels like a K-drama plot twist that came out of nowhere.
But remember this:
You survived. Again.
Through all the heaviness, you stayed. You held on to the concerts, to the people you love, to your dreams, to the tiny sparks that kept you going.
And that matters more than you realize.
If you’re happy while reading this: savor it.
If you’re still struggling — breathe. You’re not back at zero. I’ll carry you forward again, step by step.
Six months ago, I wrote this to remind you:
You deserve to be here. You deserve rest. You deserve joy.
And you’re doing your best — which is enough.
Love,
Your Past Self (tired, but hopeful for you)
