Peaceful right?

Dear Future Me, Congratulations on reaching this milestone! As I write this, I am 17, and by the time you read it, you’ll be 18, graduated, and hopefully accepted into the college we applied to. But even if things didn’t go exactly as planned, it’s okay—because right now, I feel a mix of excitement, nervousness, and hope as I think about what’s next. I am so proud of how far we’ve come. Remember that perseverance and self-belief can and will carry you through anything. No matter what challenges arise, you have the strength to overcome them. I hope that when you read this, you are still dreaming boldly, still wanting to explore the world, and still chasing the goals we’ve always imagined. I hope you’ve grown in ways we couldn’t have imagined yet, and that you’ve embraced risks that made life exciting, even if they were scary. Never forget the people who mattered during this time, and make sure you’ve stayed close to the ones who truly inspire you. Always carry gratitude for how far you’ve come and the lessons you’ve learned along the way. Most of all, I hope you are happy, healthy, and full of hope for the future. And if life isn’t exactly how you imagined, remember that it’s okay—keep moving forward, trust yourself, and keep your heart open. With all my love and hope, From your past self, [10/16/25] Congratulations on reaching this milestone!
