A letter from Nov 18, 2025

Hi. Today is day 50 of drawing. By the time this email is received, it should be day 365. I’m not sure if this skill will prove useful, but I hope you are proud of me for starting now. I wanted to quit multiple times. I thought I couldn’t do it. But when you read this email, you are either feeling regret that I quit, or glad that I kept going. I truly hope it’s the latter. I want you to know that this was a struggle to get here, and it still may be one. However, if you feel even a little bit honored for me to bring you here, practice for another day. That’s what got you here. If you happen to be filled with disappointment, pick up the pen. It’s never too late to start again. Keep your pencil sharp.
