Dear FutureMe,
Happy birthday, Ais. This is you from the future.
I hope you’re doing well and still okay. Maybe by next year—or if you’re reading this now, then this year haha—I hope you’ve reached the goals you wanted.
Did you get a new job?
Did you continue your studies?
I’m curious, what things make you feel that you’ve become more mature?
Whatever you’re doing right now, I know you can do it. Stay strong, Ais :)
Right now, I’m writing this while sitting near the cashier’s table.
There are still many things I haven’t finished and cleaned up yet, the oven is still on, and there’s still a lot of work to do :(
I just hope that next year, no one in my family has to leave—not my dad, mom, grandma, or little sister.
Today, only a few people said happy birthday to me.
Yeah, I know they’re busy, and I haven’t really kept in touch with them either.
It’s just… I felt a little lonely today.
My mom gave me a gift — a pair of baggy pants that actually aren’t that baggy when I wear them, haha.
My dad and little sister tried to surprise me with donuts (with candles on them). I was happy.
That small moment of joy made me feel warm on such a cold day.
Ais, I know there are still many things you haven’t achieved this year.
I hope you can make them come true in the year ahead 😔☺️
I love you, Ais hwhw #loveyourself
