A letter from Oct 31, 2025

Hi, birthday girl! Happy birthday! You’re 24 today! You are so fortunate that you got to live to see another year, even though this year has had its rough parts. You are also so fortunate that you’ve lived a life so great that you feel nostalgic about things that happened just a few years ago. This year didn’t end strong, but it taught you more patience, gratitude, how to take life day by day, how to live in the present, how to enjoy the now, and how to look on the bright side even when things are tough. You are resilient, kind, compassionate, and lucky that you know who you are and love yourself for it. You are also rich in ways beyond money. You are rich because of the people who love and care about you. You are rich because you learn more about yourself and the world everyday. You are rich because your life is just getting started, and life will look so lovely for you. I am hoping, wishing, and manifesting that this year will be the best one yet. I am sending all the pure, good, positive, and lucky energy your way. I hope this year is filled with the absolute best things for you because you deserve it. You are meant for great things and I know you’ll share that greatness with everyone around you. I hope whatever you ended up doing on Friday was so much fun! I hope laughs were shared, good food was on the table, and it was a good start to your birthday weekend. I hope volunteering was also super fun and that it was everything you had hoped it would be. I hope it filled your heart up. I hope you continue to spread the love and help those that need it. I know your heart will never change, and I love that about you. Don’t let anyone tell you that you can’t have your cake and eat it too. You can do whatever you want and whatever you set your mind to! Have all the cake you want and eat it or don’t - the choice is always yours. Words from last year’s letters are still true. Growth isn’t linear. The greatest things you will ever accomplish will take time. The right opportunities that are meant for you will find you at the right time. Everything happens for a reason, and just because you can’t see or understand the reason behind it doesn’t mean you never will. You are strong, you can get through anything, and trust that life will have a beautiful plan for you. Growing pains are still real! 24 will be amazing, even if there are some bumps in the road. You’ve accomplished so much so far in your life, be proud of yourself. Give yourself grace. Don’t be too hard on yourself. And stop comparing yourself to other people. Make the most out of what you have, try to look on the bright side, and always appreciate and be grateful. Tell everyone you love them. Life is nothing without the people who make it special.
