Time Travelled — about 1 year

Peaceful right?

‎Dear Future Self, ‎ ‎You’re probably 17 by now. How’s life going? I hope things are getting better for you. I hope you’re learning to live your life fully — not just surviving, but truly enjoying every little moment. I hope you’re taking good care of yourself, both mentally and physically. Please remember that your peace matters more than anything else. ‎ ‎I wonder if your family problems are okay now. I hope things at home have become lighter, calmer, and happier. You’ve gone through a lot, and you deserve peace after everything. If things are still not perfect, that’s okay too. Just keep going — you’ve always been strong enough to get through hard times. ‎ ‎Are you finally confident commuting or crossing the street on your own? 😹 I hope you’ve learned how to be more independent, even in small ways. ‎ ‎And about love… are you still single, or did a breakup happen? Whatever the answer is, I hope you’re at peace with it. Remember, love will always come at the right time. Don’t rush it. Focus on becoming the best version of yourself first, because that’s the kind of love you truly deserve — the one that finds you when you’re whole and happy on your own. ‎ ‎Please don’t pressure or stress yourself too much because of academics. You don’t need to be perfect to be proud of yourself. What matters most is that you’re trying, that you’re growing, and that you’re learning along the way. Be gentle with yourself, especially when things don’t go as planned. ‎ ‎Always remember to respect yourself, even when others don’t. You are worthy of love, respect, and kindness — especially from yourself. I hope by now you’ve learned to appreciate who you are, flaws and all. ‎ ‎I love you so much, and I’m so proud of how far you’ve come. Please keep choosing to stay, even on the days that feel heavy. Thank you for surviving every version of yourself that thought you couldn’t make it this far. ‎ ‎Keep going, Future Me. You’ve got this. ‎ ‎With love, ‎Your Past Self 💌
