Dear FutureMe, hi Devona! this is you from October 25, 2025.You must be so happy because your prayer for the past two years, since you were in 9th grade, has finally come true. You’ve always dreamed of becoming part of the AFS GSTEM Innovators, and now you made it! You did it! I’m so proud of you. I can’t wait to see what other surprises you’ll create in the next year! Haha, I hope I’ll hear many wonderful things from you one year from now. Thank you for trying your best to live, for always romanticizing life through music, journaling, and taking deep breaths whenever you don’t feel okay or are under stress. I should have realized earlier that I’m actually the kind of person who may look strong and ambitious on the outside, but is fragile on the inside. Honestly, I’m still not completely healed from everything that happened in the past, but I keep trying—to grow and to heal—with the kindness of the people around me.
