Upon reading the email you sent to yourself five years ago, I realized how much we’ve grown. I’m so proud of you, Mae-Ann — of your past versions and of who you are now. You always give your best in everything, even when hesitation lingers, and for that, I call you powerful.
So, you’re an adult now, huh? You might be struggling — with academics, with money, or with life — but never think of quitting, okay? Do it for yourself, for your parents, and especially for Cyrene, your future wife. I hope you’re still together, stronger than ever. Never let go of her, no matter what, okay? I’d be so mad if we lost our dream girl just because of your pride, foolishness, or whatever reason.
That’s all. See you, Mae-Ann.
