Dear FutureMe, I decided to join this course because I believe the future of education is inseparable from the future of technology. As an educator working in a media and technology high school, I see every day how rapidly AI and data-driven tools are shaping not only learning environments but also the professional paths my students will follow. For me, it is not enough to simply use AI in education—I want to understand it critically and responsibly. This course gives me the chance to explore the ethical dimensions of AI: issues like privacy, bias, fairness, and accountability. At the same time, it allows me to learn effective practices that can enhance teaching and learning in ways that are both innovative and meaningful. Ultimately, my goal is to be able to guide my students with confidence—not just in how to use AI and data, but in why it matters to use them thoughtfully. By joining this course, I hope to bring ethical awareness and practical strategies into my classroom, while also preparing the next generation to be not only skilled users of technology, but also responsible digital citizens.
