Dear FutureMe,
At the moment I’m writing this letter, I find myself in Istanbul, doing Erasmus. If you ask me what my plans for the future are, I’ll tell you that I don’t know — and sometimes that drives me a little crazy. How can I not have plans for my future? But honestly, since I arrived here, I haven’t thought about it anymore. I just live each day as if it were my last. I stopped overthinking. I’ve met new people — people I may have known for only two weeks, but who will stay in my heart forever. I can truly call them friends.
Right now, I want to do my master’s in Denmark, work there, or maybe go back to Portugal — or even try working abroad in Japan or Saudi Arabia. I don’t know. At the moment, I’m just living in the present. I’ll figure it out later, and I think that’s beautiful.
