Time Travelled — 12 months

Peaceful right?

Dear FutureMe,
Hey, this is your 30-year-old self checking in. One year older, one year stronger. How are you feeling?
At 30, I told myself it was time to stop hiding in stability and to take risks again. So I need to ask you: have you been slipping back into comfort, or have you been pushing forward? Remember, growth never comes from playing it too safe. It comes from stepping out, even when it’s awkward, even when it’s scary.
Don’t forget, family matters. Always be there for them. Show up, even when you don’t feel perfect. Even when you feel tired, unsure, or heavy. What matters is consistency, not perfection. Your presence is worth more than flawless performance.
Keep reminding yourself: rest is okay, but hiding is not. Stability is good, but too much of it can hold you back. Keep choosing discomfort, keep seeking growth, and don’t lose sight of who you are becoming.
I’m proud of you for making it this far. Keep moving forward. Keep showing up. Keep risking. Keep loving.
—Your 30-year-old self
