Dear Christine, It's been years since you really did celebrate your birthday. Nothing happened on 25th, partly your fault isn't? I bet today is much better than it was years ago. Are you studying MA already? Or still grinding for work? Regardless, I bet today is much more celebratory than it was before. I hope it really is. Did your expectation come back? Or you do buried it deep, you can't even find it anymore? Even so, I hope you can now give a gift to yourself. A nice book, a cake, or a nice solo getaway would be great. Please be still, alive.
