Dear Past and Future me,
I am answering this letter I received from half a year ago. To be honest, I think it's too early to answer many of those questions. But that's okay! There's a bunch I can still answer, and I will send this one another six months forward, and then I'm certain I will have all of the answers I wanted.
So for the BAC, you handled the BAC blanc plenty well, I'm pretty certain I got just above 15. I don't actually get to know what I received on the practical finals, which is wild, but my average is 16 :D amazing! Got that très bien! Amelia even got 17+!!
We celebrated all of that with our classmates since, unbelievably, Ferrandi doesn't prepare any celebrations at all. It was fun, wild, and with an utterly unsatisfying ending. Still great that it happened!!Personalized time capsule
Yeah I am envious of your hazelnut coffee. But! There's a cute café I've been wanting to go to very near, they have specialty coffees and matcha!
As for right now, I don't know how much I weigh but I know I lost some weight. Like 52kg? Maybe even less? I have no idea. Maybe 53! Anyway, I have gained a kilo in the meantime and lost it again for sure. And I do think I'm below 53kg, but I have no proof.
I barely got the 16 for a très bien and there's five of us that got that grade so I certainly didn't get the highest one, but that's ok because they can't check what I got exactly:) as far as they know I simply also got a très bien.
I don't have my middle splits, I have highs and lows of thinking it's possible, no it isn't, yes it is and so on. As for the two front splits, for a couple of months I had them anytime anywhere even if I hadn't been stretching super regularly. Now it's been so long that probably isn't the case anymore, but I think it would be easy to fix.
My hair is longer than that now ;)
I have had about five pairs of pants/skirt and six shirts to wear for the last two weeks, so it's safe to say I've been dressing in a pretty basic manner. Still cute though. Before that, I did pretty well if less intensely styled than I'd hoped. That's ok!
I have been eating right for a month now, and I mean I quit sugar entirely for a good while, and it's only been these past two three days that I have done worse. That's ok, it won't last. Just today I won't eat anything sugary for example. Tomorrow we might go to that café, but that's still occasional. Safe to say, those are immense improvements.
I'm still being a good friend to Cameron, or at least trying my best! Staying in contact, reaching out and all that.
I have found a job in the South of France, like I wanted :) Amelia also found one, even if the second day she's going there and she's having big doubts so she might quit. Hopefully not! Hopefully they won't have her work long days doing things that aren't in her job description. And instead she gets to make numerous pastries to her preference and to learn to manage a production on her own in a painless manner in a cute café context.
My job is emotionally demanding but otherwise easy and currently I live so so close to it. To be fair this place is temporary, until tomorrow, then we're moving to an apartment for a month. That one will also be a short walk away from work.
If we find an apartment somewhere here, it would be both of our preferences so Amelia gets to be close to the station and I to my job. Plus it's in the historical part of the city and within ten minutes of the sea :D
Well technically I am currently like five minutes away I'm pretty sure?
I have not touched the sea yet (absolutely wild) but I have looked, a lot
The sand is a bit greyed and there's a large proportion of rocky/gravier beaches, which wasn't what I imagined, but I'm adapting no problem:)
Our stuff is packed and the moving company will get it on the 26th, I will also be there to pick up Mia to move her to the next Airbnb where cats are allowed.
I'm envious of your bavaroise now, but I have juice. :)
I haven't pastried in ageeess
Might have something to do with not living in my own space and moving around - it's the third place I've stayed at this month
I can understand some spoken and written Spanish and I have vague and dubious ideas of how to express thoughts in it, but I'm far from speaking Spanish really.
At most I ran a kilometer straight, and two km in a day I'm pretty sure. There was a moment where I would run (almost) daily and run at most 800m straight and/or run thrice in a day? But it was a very short period, before the finals
My back is actually pretty much clear??? My face isn't, and I don't understand, but I'm so happy about my back anyway
I spent my money on the move and on a tablet, to play genshin while I don't have my PC >:)
My main focus is waiting out the first weeks of work and waiting on my contract to start looking for a place to stay. It's boring, and tiring, but at least Amelia is here now. She only got here two days ago, I've been alone for like ten days total before. Not a lot, but I didn't even have my baby here! Amelia had Mia there with her
We have gotten ice cream, very nice, and there's a café and a tea shop and other fun little stores all over the place.
I haven't taken up anything new yet, but that's the sort of question I will answer next time!
Oh yeah we also bought more perfumes!! Who would have guessed :) god bless cola and the Mancera perfume are both incredible! And I think even the lemon one we bought after I wrote that letter? So yeah that's three INCREDIBLE perfumes we've obtained in the meantime!
I want to know so much about everything in half a year, but there's already another letter for February of next year so I'll end it here.
Bye bye!! Excited to hear back from you!!
