Hello, future me. Unless I've changed my name, it's me, Jason. I'm writing this to see if I've reached my savings goal or if I haven't yet. I know one day I will.
My savings goal is for retirement. I want to achieve this goal because it will allow me to settle down and relax in the future. However, it definitely depends on our job situation. I believe we can reach our goal. We might even change it along the way, but I have faith that we will make it.
One strategy we could use is to allocate half of the money we earn from our job to taxes, set aside another portion for our retirement fund, and use the leftover cash for things like video games and other expenses. Even if we don’t reach our goal in the near future, I know we will eventually get there.
Also, future me, I know life may seem hard right now, but it will get better—trust me. It is getting better, but we have to keep looking forward
