Dear FutureMe,
The year is 2025 that I am writing this. Very different to the letter five years ago I wrote to myself. I have changed ALOT from extrovert to introvert. Lots of friends to a couple in my hands.
Uni was horrible and I lost all my friends from wym col and uni etc. Me and Jamie broke up two years ago but now you are married to Fahad- the most amazing man.
Hopefully you two are still together because nobody expected or really supported it at the start. Now everyone sees how compatible you two are. Some still past judgement but it’s okay. Currently I am planning our wedding in the church and that is insanely exciting. Having the venue at park farm and the ceremony at St Andrews.
Also a lot has happened in the family with gramps being diagnosed with prostate cancer and I really hope when you read this he is still around. He is everything to you and I hope you managed to find time together.
In terms of the carer pathway, being a paramedic is extremely hard and you doubt yourself too much. No job should have you crying all the time- I hope it got better.
Hopefully you have a house and maybe a kid or too.
With friends I’m glad Naryce and Tilly are around.
Getting older means your life becomes smaller but more meaningful. Remember who is in your circle and keep putting the effort it. Especially with fahad he is amazing and you both deserve each other. Don’t be so grumpy all the time. Make time for each other and remind each other why you are so perfect together. I live for Ivy dates and going back to places we have been. He is literally treating you like a queen and more and with no prompting. Who knew love would be like this. Anyway keep smiling girl. You deserve to enjoy life when it hasn’t been easy.
Proud of you always and may god always be with you
